Tai Chi: Connect your body and mind
Tai Chi is a Chinese martial art practiced for both its defense training and its health benefits. As a result, a multitude of training forms exist, both traditional and modern. Some of Tai Chi's training forms are especially known for being practiced at what most people categorize as slow movement.
Here at TCR, Tai Chi Master, David Saltman guides students in this ancient and respected martial art. David has been practicing Chinese meditative and martial arts for nearly 40 years, studying with master S.T. Ying in California, and studying nearly 30 years with renowned master B.P. Chan in New York. He served as Chan’s teaching assistant for 15 years and eventually took over Chan’s public classes. David has been with TCR for many years, instructing both Tai Chi and Qigong, and is the only instructor on the East Coast able to teach Tai Chi Ruler. For more intensive and customized training in any of the above arts, private sessions would be most beneficial and are available to members only.
