George was born in Accra, Ghana with a natural gift for the sport of tennis. At the age of 17 he trained daily at the Aviation Social Center under the encouraging arm of his coach, Richard Ayi Dartey.

While still a junior, George embarked on his international tennis career.  His hard work and dedication to the sport paid off with highlights including Davis Cup Africa Zone Group III; National Team Ghana; Training Tour at the ITF Center in Morocco; Gold Medal recipient at the All African Games; 2015 Year-End ATP World Ranking of 2069. In 2015, George was awarded the Unsung Hero by the Ghana Sports Excellence committee.
