Time to Spring into Fitness

Time to Spring into Fitness
Spring into Fitness
We made it through another Winter, and Spring is officially here (even though is does not feel like it yet)!  However, after all the comfort food of the holidays, it is the perfect time to reignite your motivation for fitness! Time to Spring into Fitness! Summer will be here before you know it. You want to make sure that you are in the best shape for the season!  It is crunch time and we have three simple tips to get you rolling!
  1. Schedule a physical: Believe it or not, only about 20 percent of Americans get an annual check-up. Be one of them! While you might look and feel just fine (or want to shy away from needles), it is important to see your primary physician prior to beginning any new fitness regimen.
  1. Commit to staying fit: If you rarely worked out this winter, set small goals to start.  If you have not done so, set up a fitness consultation with one of our trainers.  The trainers will help you jumpstart a fitness plan (you contact Eugene, Manny or Kenny to find out more details)!  Also, here at TCR we offer over 50+ classes a week.  Start by working out three times week! This can include 2x/week taking classes, and 1x/week working out in the fitness center. Learn how to make exercise a habit!
  1. Fitness Rotation: Once you have made it a habit to commit in staying fit, make sure you always find a way to keep it fresh. If you constantly do the same monotonous workout regimen your body will plateau, and results will be stagnant. While here at TCR, not only can you use the fitness center and take group fitness classes, you can book a tennis or golf lesson, swim in our wonderful pool, or practice your shots on our popular in-door basketball courts.  All of these activities will keep your body working towards your fitness goals, in various ways.

It’s time to spring into fitness!

Enjoy the change of season with all eyes on changing how you feel and exercise!
